Gas Engineering Qualifications Once Complete

Domestic Gas Engineer
- BPEC – Energy Efficiency (Part L)
- ACS – Core Gas Safety
- ACS – Central Heating Boilers and Water Heaters
- ACS – Cookers and Hobs
- ACS – Space Heaters – Fires
- ACS – Flue Gas Analysers
- BPEC – Part P Defined Scope Electrical Qualification
When qualified, you will work as a fully qualified gas engineer running your own business or working for a firm. This entails a list of highly requested skills such as (but not limited to):
- Work as a gas engineer running your own business or working for a company.
- Work on domestic properties.
- Work on new buildings.
- Work on servicing, installing and maintaining domestic gas appliances.
- Install and maintain appliances for landlords and tenants.
- Provide an emergency call-out service.
Gas Engineer Salary To Expect
So, what can you expect in regards to salary and potential earnings? The average gas engineers salary in the UK is about £32,756. The great news is that a low salary for a gas engineer is still over £27,000. This means even as someone with minimal experience going into the field, you can still expect to earn a decent salary. The higher range of salaries can vary between £33,000 and £41,000 so there is plenty of potential for growth within the industry.
